Only two years to go until the 2021 Championships! The Championships' emblems and the mascots, named "Sealight" and "Shirney," have been unveiled to the public.

Fukuoka OC is happy to announce that we successfully held the unveiling ceremony of emblems and two mascots, Sealight and Shirney, of the 19th FINA World Championships 2021 Fukuoka on Monday July 8 2019, inviting Mr. Sōichirō TAKASHIMA (Vice President, Fukuoka OC / Mayor of Fukuoka City), Mr. Akihiro HINO (CEO, LEVEL-5 Inc. /designer of the mascots) and Ms. Satomi SUZUKI (London Olympics silver medal-winning swimmer, born in Fukuoka)

These emblems and mascots are the symbols of the Fukuoka Championships. Sealight and Shirney will warmly greet not only the athletes but also everyone visiting Fukuoka, Kyushu and even Japan with jovial smiles, and are set to serve as our ambassadors to help boost momentum to FUKUOKA 2021.
We hope that everyone both from home and abroad find these designs ‘friendly’, and ‘sympathetic’.

As we have only two years left until the FUKUOKA 2021, we are determined to do our utmost to promote the championships.
